Aegis has released 10 albums over its career that have consistently made the Gold and Platinum marks beginning with Halik, Mahal na Mahal Kita, Awit at Pag-Ibig, Paskong-Pasko and Ating Balikan. They also released a mind-boggling remix collection of their hits entitled Ating Sayawin. The band is also responsible for hits such as "Luha" and "Halik".

Throwback Thursday 'Donna Cruz' OPM Artist of 1990's

Donna Cruz (born February 14, 1977) is a Filipina recording artist and entertainer. She emerged as the biggest multimedia superstar in the 1990s, becoming successful as a recording artist, actress, product endorser and television presenter. She is related to the Cruz clan in Philippine showbiz which includes uncle Tirso Cruz III, cousins Sheryl, Sunshine, Geneva, Rayver and Rodjun Cruz. According to Viva Entertainment, she is the most successful OPM female artist of the 1990s, with combined album sales of over 300,000 throughout her nine years as an active recording artist.

        Lucky Seven, the 7th issue of the Heat 50 Songs will be change from Heat 50 to Hot 100 Music. As the celebration of the aTunes 5th Year we will present to all our viewers the Hot 100 of the Philippine Music, the hot 100 are classified with the combination of, OPM (Original Pinoy Music) and International. Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco (born May 10, 1992), popularly known by the mononym Charice, is a Filipina singer who rose to popularity through YouTube. Dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as "the most talented girl in the world", she released her first international studio album Charice in 2010. The album entered the Billboard 200 at number eight, making Charice the first Asian solo singer in history to land in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Emmanuelle is poised to be OPM’s newest sweetheart

With her sweet voice, amazing songwriting talent, pretty face, new teen singer Emmanuelle is poised to be OPM’s newest sweetheart.

Her self-titled debut album, produced by Universal Records, is out to prove just that.

The young singer expressed excitement over the release of her debut album saying, “this is really a dream come true for me. It feels like I’ve been given this rare chance of introducing myself to everyone through my music.”

Emmanuelle wrote the album’s carrier single Happy, a catchy, feel good song that will line her up along the industry’s finest groundbreaking artists, along with Zia Quizon and Somedaydream.

She expresses gratitude to Universal Records for producing an album for a newbie like her, amidst the problems of the music industry.

“Emmanuelle is such a gifted artist,” says actor Sam Milby. “She really can do everything- sing, act, dance, and write good music. This will surely be a treat to music fans all over the country.”

Champion singer Erik Santos, on the other hand, compliments Emmanuelle’s voice saying how sweet, ear-friendly it is.

The album also features Manong Guard, a duet with OPM pop rock princess Yeng Constantino.

“Masaya talaga ako na nakasama ako sa album na ‘to,” admits Yeng. “I am extremely happy that Emmanuelle has been given this chance to record some songs that she wrote herself – dun sa aspect na yun, pareho kaming singer-songwriter.”

Aside from Happy, Emmanuelle penned songs like Dear Diary, and Tonight. She also interpreted songs of Ito Rapadas (Sandali Lang) and Jude Gitamondoc (Sarap Mabuhay). She also has her rendition of the hit ballad God Gave Me You.

Aside from being a gifted singer and songwriter, Emmanuelle is also a promising guitar player.

Welcome Austin Mahone at atunes! New face of Music Industry!

Austin Carter Mahone (born April 4, 1996) is an American pop singer who became popular in 2011 due to viral videos of his performances. Mahone's debut single 11:11 was released on February 14th, 2012. That same day he headlined his first proper concert at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, Illinois.

Mahone first starting posting videos on YouTube with his friend Alex Constancio in June 2010. Music videos followed by January 2011, and he quickly began to build an online following. The young male singer has even been called the "second coming of Justin Bieber". Mahone's video covering Bieber's Mistletoe, released in late October 2011, became so popular that it eclipsed the views of Bieber's original.

In September 2011, Mahone debuted at No. 38 on the Billboard Social 50 chart, the youngest artist to appear on the list. He rose to No. 28 on the list as of December 2. And as of January 2012, Mahone has over 430,000 Twitter followers and 350,000 YouTube subscribers. Not unlike previous teen heartthrobs, Mahone's growing fan base is dominated by teenage females. His fans have been dubbed "Mahomies.". He is inspired by Canadian Singer Justin Bieber.
