Britney Spears on Taylor Swift: "I think she's adorable"

From "...Baby One More Time" to "Oops I Did It Again," Britney Spears ruled the millennial pop scene the way Taylor Swift does now. But instead of feeling any bitterness toward the new reigning pop queen, Spears admits she's quite the Swiftie herself.

"I love Taylor Swift," the singer told E! News at the Teen Choice Awards. "I think she's adorable. I love her music. Her music makes me so happy. She's very level-headed. She's a very, very smart girl, very wise."

Both Swift and Spears were honored at the TCAs, with Swift taking home four awards (including Female Choice Summer Music Star) and Spears being granted the Candie’s Choice Style Icon award. Unfortunately for Spears, Swift wasn't in attendance at the Aug. 16 event as she's currently on her 1989 World Tour. But Swift has a track record of bringing out a special guest (or three) in every city, so here's hoping an onstage pop queen meet-up happens -- by the sounds of it, Spears wouldn't say no.

As for her sons, they're not quite on the Swift-loving level just yet. Instead, they're big EDM fans. "My kids are deejays," Spears told E!. "They're both in their rooms deejaying 24/7 and making up their own music." Spears posted a picture of her family on Instagram when Skrillex stopped by her Piece of Me show in Las Vegas on Aug. 9, calling it a "dream come true" for her boys.
