Sarah Geronimo No.1 at ATunes Top 100


Sarah Geronimo also known as Sarah G. She gained further prominence when she signed a deal with ABS-CBN in 2004. After appearing in several television programs, the singer-actress ventured into film when she starred in A Very Special Love in 2008, a partnership between Star Cinema and VIVA Films. The romantic-comedy project eventually grossed ₱ 179 million in theaters, which became a film series and released its third installment in 2013 with a title It Takes a Man and a Woman, her most successful feature film to date with records of as much as ₱ 387 million.

The Pop Singer was beloved by many Filipino's because of her voice. With over a million albums sold in the music industry and three Box-Office Queen titles, Geronimo has also been acknowledged by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, declaring her as a Goodwill Ambassadress for Music in 2013. Geronimo also elevated into an Anak TV Seal Hall of Famer in the same year subsequent to consecutive honors from the organization for the past decade. She currently serves as a coach for The Voice of the Philippines and its follow-up The Voice Kids.

Following a well-received performance of the song at the 2011 BRIT Awards, "Someone like You" became Adele's first number one single in the United Kingdom and it stayed on the top of the chart for five weeks. The song also topped the charts in Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Italy, France and Switzerland, and has become Adele's second number one in the United States. With that achievement Adele became the first female British solo singer in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 to have two number ones from the same album. In July 2011, it became the first single of the decade to sell a million units in the United Kingdom and it was certified Platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), as well as being certified 5× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States.
